What is Pair Programming?
Pair programming is a collaborative coding practice where two developers work together on the same task—one writes the code (the “Driver”) while the other reviews and focuses on the big picture (the “Navigator”).
Who can use this facility?
Our facility is open to developers, students, and teams who want to improve their coding skills through collaboration.
Do I need to bring my own laptop?
You are welcome to bring your own device. However, workstations with essential development tools are available for use.
Can I work on any programming language?
Yes! You can code in any language or framework that suits your project, including JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, and more.
Is prior experience required?
No, both beginners and experienced developers are welcome. You can pair up with someone at your skill level or learn from an advanced coder.
What's a Project Provider and Project Taker?
A Project Provider is someone who has an idea of what they want to build and brings that to Let's Pair to work on! A Project Taker is someone who is willing to help anyone work on a project!
Are there Advisors available?
Yes! Our Advisors are available at scheduled times to provide guidance on best practices, debugging, and project development.
